Vibration Suppression Scheme

For many applications, the vibration is a nuisance. According to the nature of different applications, different vibration suppression schemes can be used.

One typical characteristic of Lihan cryocoolers is low vibration, for which either passive scheme or active scheme has been used, which is strongly dependent on the nature of applications.

For relatively less stringent requirements, a passive balancer or a dual-opposed piston configuration can be used. 

For those advanced applications, an adaptive vibration control scheme has been successfully developed for cryocoolers with dual-opposed pistons.
